1Foggy Prague 2
New Town · Metro Muzeum
The take. Same rating as the first Foggy with a bigger, two-floor space, weekend DJs and a karaoke floor, which suits groups. If you want a quiet hookah, weekend nights here are more party than lounge.
This list is ordered by a blend of Google rating and number of Google reviews, so places that are both well rated and widely visited come first. The author's own scores after visiting each place will be added later.
1New Town · Metro Muzeum
The take. Same rating as the first Foggy with a bigger, two-floor space, weekend DJs and a karaoke floor, which suits groups. If you want a quiet hookah, weekend nights here are more party than lounge.
2Old Town · Metro Můstek
The take. The most reviewed hookah lounge in Prague, with a strong rating held across thousands of reviews and a central Old Town location. It is a basement space, so it gets loud and busy at weekends; book ahead if you want a calm table.
3Vinohrady · Metro Jiřího z Poděbrad
The take. Highest rating in the group and a relaxed neighbourhood feel in Vinohrady, good for an early evening rather than a late night. It closes around midnight (1 am at weekends), so it is not the place to end a night out.
4Vinohrady · Metro Náměstí Míru
The take. Popular Vinohrady branch of a local chain with a wide flavour menu and a cosy room. It closes at midnight every day, which is early for Prague nightlife.
5Vinohrady · Metro Náměstí Míru
The take. Daytime café and evening hookah bar in one, useful if you want shisha in the afternoon. The review count is still modest and it closes at midnight on weekdays.
6New Town · Metro I. P. Pavlova
The take. A solid New Town lounge with close to a thousand reviews and a consistently good score. Hours are evening-only and it shuts before 2 am, so plan it as a first stop.
7New Town · Metro Náměstí Republiky
The take. Near-perfect rating, though from a much smaller number of reviews than the leaders, so it is still building a track record. Convenient for Náměstí Republiky, with evening-only hours.
8New Town · Metro I. P. Pavlova
The take. Shisha plus karaoke rooms makes it a good pick for birthdays and groups who want both. Rating is slightly below the top places, and karaoke nights can make it loud if you came for the hookah.
9Vinohrady · Metro Flora
The take. A restaurant first and a shisha bar second, which makes it handy if you want a proper meal with your hookah. It is further out near Flora, but stays open until 5 am on Fridays and Saturdays.
